Solar Garden lights are one of the best ways to make your garden beautiful. Many people know exactly how to grow their flowers and how to keep the flowers looking great, but the other types of decoration are often overlooked, garden lighting being one of the most prominent. If you want to have really cool garden light, but aren’t sure exactly how to do this, look no further than solar garden lights! Solar powered garden lights are great for several reasons. I have actually already written about solar lights in the past, so go ahead and check out my other post on solar lights.
Solar garden lights are very beautiful at night and can be extremely pleasant to be around. Solar garden lighting is also very environmentally friendly. You don’t use any electricity at all and you will thank yourself for getting solar lights once you see the reduction on your electric bill. Since you aren’t using electricity, you’ll be doing the environment a huge favor by not adding any pollution of any sort. This in and of itself is probably a good reason to get solar garden lights.
So how many solar garden lights should you get? Well, the rule of thumb is to have the lights evenly spaced wherever you’re placing them. If they are along a pathway, for example, you’ll want to alternate sides of the pathway for a nicer feel. The lights should also be around a foot apart from each other. This will vary on the size of solar garden light that you get, of course. It’s a good idea to measure the area that you want to light up with these garden lights. There’s no sense in wasting space or wasting garden lights.
A great thing that you can do with your solar garden lights is to make sure and buy lights that blend into the ground. This will make them disappear in the day and your garden won’t look like there are lights everywhere. The best way to do this is to buy solar garden lights that lie flush with the ground. Just make sure that you place them in places where they will get plenty of sunlight, otherwise, you won’t have any lights at all!
If you choose to have your lights fully visible, there are also plenty of solar garden lights that sit on top of the ground. You can buy a range from classic style solar lights, modern lights, antique lights, and all the way to flashy solar lights that really stand out. The sky is the limit!
